Take Notice –
The Disclosures Tribunal will commence public sittings on Tuesday 4th July 2017 in George’s Hall, Dublin Castle sitting from 10 am to 15.30 pm, with a break for lunch, from 12.30 pm to 13.30 pm. Sitting times for the rest of the week will be as follows:- Wednesday 5th July (9.30am to 14.15pm), Thursday 6th July (14.00 pm to 18.00 pm) and Friday 7th July (10 am to 12.30 pm and 13.30 pm to 15.30 pm).
The Tribunal proposes to deal with the issues arising out of Term of Reference (d), and relevant to (c).
Term of Reference (d):-
“To investigate the creation, distribution and use by TUSLA of a file containing false allegations of sexual abuse against Sergeant Maurice McCabe that was allegedly sent to Gardai in 2013, and whether these false allegations and/or the file were knowingly used by senior members of An Garda Siochana to discredit Sergeant McCabe.”
