The tribunal will recommence public hearings in relation to term of reference (p), the complaint of Garda Nicholas Keogh on Monday 29 June 2020 at 10.30 am in George’s Hall, Dublin Castle as follows:

The Tribunal has further scheduled a period for legal submissions on the Garda Nicholas Keogh Module at Georges Hall, Dublin Castle and it is proposed to commence the legal submissions on  01 July 2020 at 10.30 am.

 

These Tribunal sittings will be conducted in strict compliance with all government regulation and guidance for the time being in force in respect of COVID-19.  

 

Any person wishing to attend the Tribunal will have to sign an entrance book detailing their name and contact details.  

 

Please note that it will be necessary for the Tribunal to retain this data so that the Tribunal can provide details to the HSE for contact tracing purposes in the event that anyone in the hearing room subsequently tests positive for COVID-19.  The data will not be used for any other purpose and it will only be retained for as long as necessary.  In the current circumstances, it will be retained for 14 days after your attendance at George’s Hall.  

 

The Tribunal will implement the following procedures on entry and departing the tribunal on days of sittings:

 

  • legal teams, press, public and audio engineer will have their temperatures taken on arrival,
  • each person will have to sanitise their hands on arrival,
  • members of  legal teams, press and public will be escorted to their allocated marked seating on arrival,
  • all parties will be escorted out of the building in small groups when hearings are completed each day,
  • no group gatherings in the hearing chamber,
  • the wearing of face masks is not mandatory. However, the tribunal asks that full consideration is given to each and every person attending the tribunal and that the guidelines, as set down by Government and the Chief Medical Officer regarding the wearing of masks are fully adhered to in this regard,
